LEDs used in computers, smartphones, and indoor lighting emit various colors of light, including red, blue, green, and yellow. Among these, blue light has a shorter wavelength and stronger energy compared to other colors. It is known to cause flickering in vision and eye fatigue.

Yellow light cut enhances contrast and visibility

Cuts UV and HEV420 from sunlight

It cuts nearly 100% of UV400 (ultraviolet) rays. Additionally, it features a new standard UV cut function that significantly reduces the HEV420 range, which recent studies have shown to affect the eyes.

Evaluation of functional lenses using brain function measurement

TRIGUARD is a lens developed by Hopnic Laboratory under the supervision of Professor Tomoya Handa from Kitasato University, as part of the Strategic Core Technology Advancement Program (Supporting Industry Program) by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

TRIGUARD™ is a wavelength control lens developed to cut three wavelength regions at 420nm, 460nm, and 585nm, aiming to both "enhance visual quality" and "protect the eyes from light." TRIGUARD™ is an almost colorless and transparent lens, allowing users to enjoy the joy of natural and unobstructed vision in all aspects of daily life without compromising their appearance.

Result of Lens Wear Comfort Evaluation

Many survey participants reported that while lenses focused on functionality, such as glare reduction and enhanced text clarity, were effective, they experienced discomfort due to the altered color perception.
TRIGUARD is characterized by its natural appearance from the outside.
These are functional lenses designed with a focus on comfort for everyday use.
